Rose Mary Woods (December 26, 1917 - January 22, 2005) was the secretary to Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. On November 21, 1973 it was revealed that she had erased a crucial 18 1/2 minute-long section from one of the Nixon tapes. She claimed it was an accident, but to this day few believe her.
