Nauheed Cyrusi is an Indian actress, model, and VJ.[1]
Early life
Nauheed Cyrusi was born into an Indian descent Parsee Zorastrian family in Belfast, Northern Ireland.[2] She originally wanted to travel by becoming an air hostess, but after modelling for three years, she decided to become an actress.[citation needed]
Career
While in school Cyrusi accompanied her friend to an audition and at the age of 14 she appeared in an advertisement for Dhara Refined Oil. Subsequently, she went on to appear in advertisements for Head & Shoulders, Britannia Little Hearts Biscuits, and Ayurvedic Concepts (now Himalaya).[1]
She also appeared in several music videos, most notably for the song "Piya basanti".[3]
She made her debut in 2003 with Padam Kumar's Hindi film, Supari, starring Uday Chopra. Subsequently, Vikram Bhatt chose her for Inteha opposite Ashmit Patel. She then appeared in youth-oriented tele-series Hip Hip Hurray.[1] In 2004, Cyrusi starred in the Telugu film Sakhiya with Tarun Kumar.
She also did a Hindi Short Film Kuch Spice to make it Meetha in 2012 with Purab Kohli. The music of movie givrn by Daksh The Band and Composer Kavish Mishra.
