* '''Keep separate''' per argument by Rfrisbie. To simplify it even more: prejudice is a ''thought'', while discrimination is necessarily an ''action''. [[User:GregorB|GregorB]] 20:02, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

We should merge category:discrimination and category:prejudice and category:prejudices into category:prejudice and discrimination, otherwise we'll be basically repeating the same list twice. --Sonjaaa 20:12, July 26, 2005 (UTC)

  • I think the categories prejudice and discrimination need to be distinct. Prejudices are negative attitudes about groups of people. They may or may not lead to discrimination. Discrimination may or may not result from prejudice. It may result from the unintentional adverse effect of policies, for example.Wuzzy 10:53, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
