Braun manufactured the KSM2 electric coffee grinder for many decades, which became an icon kitchen appliance and the standard in coffee grinders. People who owned these grinders lament how theirs had lasted 10, 20 or 30 years before burning out, and are extremely disappointed that they are no longer being manufactured. Alternate brands of electric coffee grinders typically burn out after a couple years of ownership. - [[Special:Contributions/75.173.108.10|75.173.108.10]] ([[User talk:75.173.108.10|talk]]) 14:26, 14 August 2017 (UTC) |

Endless pronunciation loop
When the article states that "Braun" is pronounced like "braun", does that mean it's pronounced "brawn"? And wouldn't that then be more clear than stating the obvious but utterly unhelpful fact that braun is pronounced braun? --Mudd1 (talk) 22:18, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thinking the same thing. It is true that even official ads pronounce it something like brɒn, but we need a source, and something better than "braun", which as you've said is no help whatsoever. - Estoy Aquí (talk) 15:33, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Like 'Brown' in Germanic markets. Like 'Brawn' in most others. In German 'au' is pronounced like 'ow' not 'or', as it is in English. Braun is just the German version of the color/surname Brown - an pronounced almost identically. 80.169.41.20 (talk) 10:24, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
