Name
It was mentioned in a recent article in magazine The Wire that the name "Oneohtrix Point Never" comes from the name of a soft rock radio station that Lopatin would hear while going to the dentist, 106.7 ("Oneohsix Point Seven", misheard, becomes "Oneohtrix Point Never"). Apparently he would hear this under the influence of anesthetic. -220.245.252.171 (talk) 04:15, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

- The first OPN release was credited under the name Magic Oneohtrix Point Never. This appears to be based on the radio station Magic 106.7, verifying what was said in the Wire issue. It might be worth mentioning in this article that Magic Oneohtrix Point Never is an alternate spelling or previous alias. -220.245.252.171 (talk) 00:10, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
