Margaret Glaspy is an American singer-songwriter from Red Bluff, California, based since 2010 in New York City.[1] She is currently signed with ATO Records.

Career

Glaspy began her solo career releasing an EP in mid-2012 titled Homeschool.[2][3][4]

She signed to ATO Records in 2015 and first released a 7" EP which included two songs from her future debut album, Emotions and Math. "You and I"/"Somebody to Anybody" was released in January 2016.[5][6][7]

She announced her debut album with the title track from Emotions and Math on April 5, 2016.[8] A music video for her first single, "You and I", was released later.[9] She self-produced the record, which was mixed by Shawn Everett. Prior to the album's released Glaspy toured with Rayland Baxter, Lucius, and Milk Carton Kids.

Personal life

Glaspy has two older siblings, a sister and a brother, who is also a musician. She is in a relationship with musician Julian Lage.
