Welcome!
This Week's poem
I remember salt smoke from a beach fire And shadows under the pines- Solid, clean... fixed- Seagulls perched at the tip of land, White upon green... And a wind comes through the pines To sway the shadows; The seagulls spread their wings, Lift And fill the sky with screeches. And I hear the wind Blowing across our beach, And the surf, And I see that our fire Has scorched the seaweed.
About Me
I am a fairly experienced Wikipedia user and writer who has been here since Dec. of 2004. I am also an administrator, one of many!
If edit counts, contributions, and administrative actions interest you, you may wish to check out my subpage, /Edits, or also my bot's account, at Bot-maru; I occasionally use a secondary account, User:Rhwawn. Accountability and transparency, yay!
I also occasionally edit on: Wookieepedia, (here), the Jargon Wiki, (here), the Wheel of Time wiki (here), Wikibooks (here), Wikisource (here), Metapedia (here), the ratpoison wiki (here), the Haskell wiki (here), and also on Uncyclopedia (here).
I usually divide my time among three categories: general watchlist-based maintenance of various Star Wars, anime, and computer-related matters; fixing random things like backlogs or missing articles; and writing excellent articles on obscure subjects (ex. on Ummon, Shotetsu, Lisp machines, and The Encyclopedia of the Brethren of Purity, to cite some recent examples; I'm especially fond of my Fujiwara no Teika article).
To Do
Notes to self:
- Re-write & expand 9th Elsewhere article- rather a good webcomic; also do Errant Story.
- Using Basil Liddell Hart's Strategy, add battle explanations to Belisarius.
- Cleanup and expand, after re-reading, Freedom Evolves.
- Expand Lando Calrissian. Would you believe there is no EU material whatsoever?
- Rework Maarek Stele with that bastard Publius' ridiculously good article [1]; also Wookiepedia's[2]
- Expand the ratpoison wikibook as my use of ratpoison grows in proficiency
- Write a conkeror manual after figuring out sane commands for tabbed browsing?
- Clean up Tom o'Bedlam. I know such an article can be much better done than it currently is.
- Clean up Hassan-i-Sabah. Possible EP/FA?
Sub-pages
- General documents
- Code and program material
- Experiment
