Attention:
This IP address, 195.93.21.36, is registered to AOL and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact AOL to report abuse.
If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. However, you will still be unable to edit Wikipedia while the IP you are using is blocked.
Still vandalising
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Lost (TV Series), are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Oliver20219:41, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I notice this individual has a history with vandalism. He has recently vandalised the Striker (comic) page with a personal attack against me. Not only is that pathetic and cowardly, but it's an abuse of Wikipedia.
This message is regarding the article Cattle. Please stop removing content from Wikipedia that people have worked hard to create. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- pgk(talk)18:31, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone help me out here- not sure if this is the correct way of going about asking for help, but unsure what else to do! I share this IP address and keep geting messages saying that I have been vandalising Wikipedia. At first I thought I had actually vandalised by accident, since I couldn't think of another explanation, but after reading the infomation it is clear that other people use this IP address and are causing trouble. I have set up my own account now, so i no longer receive messages saying I have been vandalising, but I keep noticing that before I log in, this IP address still has users vandalising. I was wondering how many people shared an IP address- I used to think it was a kind of "private" thing??
Is this the correct place to ask people for help?
It's a place, but there are some help pages (see the list on the left <---). IP addresses can be "private", as you state, but they can also be shared. Two examples - if you're on a machine in a school, college or cybercafe, that machine may have an IP address on the network it's directly connected to. However, if it goes out to the internet, it'll go through another piece of kit (a server or router) and *that* IP address will be the one recorded by the outside world. Therefore all the machines in that lab/building will all, effectively, have the same IP address as far as Wikipedia is concerned.
The other example is "dynamic IP assignment" where every time you connect to the 'net (say through a dial-up connection) you're assigned an address from an available "pool". Someone else may well have had that same address prior to you connecting.
However, you've done the right thing by registering and creating an account. As far as I'm aware, Wikipedia will ignore the IP address you're from and simply use your new username to identify you so you shouldn't have any problem if some other individual abuses the IP address. Feel free to post on the help pages or on my talk area (link follows) if you have any more questions IainP(talk)13:09, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Petros47119:19, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not add commentary and your personal analysis of an article into Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's NPOV rules and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Sonic17:54, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
