== Knockouts == |
|||
Hi, |
|||
I remembered that you said that all of the aforementioned Knockouts have wrestled during the UK tapings of the show. I'm still waiting for you to cite that. The personnel page should reflect on their roles that they play in the company. Regardless of whether they've wrestled someplace else, if they don't wrestle in TNA, which as of now, they do not, it would be untruthful to put them in the same section as Gail Kim or Velvet Sky, who are active competitors. If they're not active wrestlers, they're managers, not valets. If this is declared an edit war, I wouldn't mind seeing what a senior editor has to say about this. Notice
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Bbundu. Thank you. Skamecrazy123 (talk) 16:11, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
We have a problem...
I took a look at the page history for diffs to back up your claim. As far as I could tell, none of them constituted vandalism. The problem is that you seem to have been engaged in an edit war for with Bbundu for most of today. I have asked for a second opinion on the ANI, but it seems that you are both equally culpable here. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 19:15, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 25
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WWE Tag Team Championship, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kalisto (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

lana, stephanie and hhh
Hi. You know I hate the roster pages. However, I think you should reconsider Lana, Stephanie and HHH status. Lana is a full time manager, not a wrestler. Maybe, she'll have a match at NOC, but I think she deserves the other on air personnel section until she becomes a full time wrestler (for example, Paul Heyman had a match, but he stills a manager). McMahon and HHH are Authority figures. I understand HHH as wrestler, because he was a full time wrestler, but right now, both of them have one or two matches per year. I think their section is OOAP (HHH with the note ocasional wrestler). --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 15:51, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- @HHH Pedrigree: Gotta have some wiggle room here. Lana is clearly building to a match with Summer Rae, and the women should be cut more slack than the men because they get 1 (at most 2) matches per show, so they simply don't have a chance to wrestle as often. HHH and Stephanie are unique cases, - no they don't wrestle often, but when they do it's in major high profile feuds and shows. HHH has been doing this for years in his COO gimmick, and Stephanie is starting to follow suit (the Bellas feud main evented Raw a few times last year, plus the stuff with Rhonda Rousey garnered headlines) Mr and Mrs HHH are on a different level than say Paul Heyman or Zeb Coulter wrestling a match every few years - the Helmsley-McMahons are headliners when they "strap 'em up", thus they're more than just your typical "OOAP". Vjmlhds 17:07, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Again, I think this is your Personal Opinion, OR and CRYSTALBALL. No matter what company or conditions women have, Lana stills a valet, not a wrestler. McMahon "unique" case isn't unique. An authority figure that once per year, she wrestles. Like Heyman, Long, Cole, Lurinaitis, Bischoff, Vickie Guerrero, Ricardo Rodriguez... McMahon isn't a full time wrestler, her role is AF. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:29, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- They are occasional wrestlers, not full time wrestlers and you are becoming a part of an edit war. -Kiraroshi1976 (talk) 17:24, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- @HHH Pedrigree: You can be a valet and also a wrestler - no law that says just because you are a valet that's all you can ever be. Vjmlhds 17:33, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Lana performed since her debut as valet. Right now, she hasn't had a match. So, she isn't a wrestler, only a valet. Until then, WP:CRYSTALBALL AND WP:OR --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:36, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Kiraroshi1976: What difference does it make if they wrestle 2 matches or 200? HHH and Stephanie are still viewed as major attractions for WWE, which is why they wrestle on major shows. Vjmlhds 17:26, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Again, "major attractions" doesn't make them wrestlers. Heyman is an atraction every RAW and he isn't a wrestler. All reasons you gave are OR and your opinion. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:30, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

The point is you're changing the format to fix your editions. No. You change your editions to fix into the format. McMahon isn't a wrestler, all these "levels" or "major atraction" are your PERSONAL OPINION and OR. A major atraction and a storyline isn't equal to wrestler. The wrestlers section isn't a higher level, it's about wrestlers. Lana and McMahon aren't wrestlers, so they should stay in the Other on air personnel section. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:00, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Excuse me? You always act like the Lord of the Rosters. Again, all reasons you told us is WP:OR, PERSONAL OPINION and CRYSTALBALL. That's wikipedia policies. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:05, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
- Don't take it personaly. It's not "throwing your editions into the garbage". However, you're against three WP policies in this particual case. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:16, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
WikiCup 2015 September newsletter
The finals for the 2015 Wikicup has now begun! Congrats to the 8 contestants who have survived to the finals, and well done and thanks to everyone who took part in rounds 3 and 4.
In round 3, we had a three-way tie for qualification among the wildcard contestants, so we had 34 competitors. The leader was by far Casliber (submissions) in Group B, who earned 1496 points. Although 913 of these points were bonus points, he submitted 15 articles in the DYK category. Second place overall was Coemgenus (submissions) at 864 points, who although submitted just 2 FAs for 400 points, earned double that amount for those articles in bonus points. Everyone who moved forward to Round 4 earned at least 100 points.
The scores required to move onto the semifinals were impressive; the lowest scorer to move onto the finals was 407, making this year's Wikicup as competitive as it's always been. Our finalists, ordered by round 4 score, are:
- Cas Liber (submissions), who is competing in his sixth consecutive Wikicup final, again finished the round in first place, with an impressive 1666 points in Pool B. Casliber writes about the natural sciences, including ornithology, botany and astronomy. A large bulk of his points this round were bonus points.
- Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points), second place both in Pool B and overall, earned the bulk of his points with FPs, mostly depicting currency.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions), first in Pool A, came in third. His specialty is natural science articles; in Round 4, he mostly submitted articles about insects and botany. Five out of the six of the GAs he submitted were level-4 vital articles.
- Harrias (submissions), second in Pool A, took fourth overall. He tends to focus on articles about cricket and military history, specifically the 1640s First English Civil War.
- West Virginian (submissions), from Pool A, was our highest-scoring wildcard. West Virginia tends to focus on articles about the history of (what for it!) the U.S. state of West Virginia.
- Rodw (submissions), from Pool A, likes to work on articles about British geography and places. Most of his points this round were earned from two impressive accomplishments: a GT about Scheduled monuments in Somerset and a FT about English Heritage properties in Somerset.
- Rationalobserver (submissions), from Pool B, came in seventh overall. RO earned the majority of her points from GARs and PRs, many of which were earned in the final hours of the round.
- Calvin999 (submissions), also from Pool B, who was competing with RO for the final two spots in the final hours, takes the race for most GARs and PRs—48.
The intense competition between RO and Calvin999 will continue into the finals. They're both eligible for the Newcomers Trophy, given for the first time in the Wikicup; whoever makes the most points will win it.
Good luck to the finalists; the judges are sure that the competition will be fierce!

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Cleveland Browns may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on .
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- In 1999, the expansion Browns adopted the traditional design with two exceptions: 1.) Jersey-sleeve numbers were moved to the shoulders, and 2.) The orange-brown-orange pants stripes were significantly widened.
- personalities Ken Carman and [[Dustin Fox]], along with WKNR personalities Tony Rizzo, Matt Wilhelm]], and [[Jerod Cherry]] host the network pregame show (heard in Cleveland on WKNR exclusively),

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:44, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- I would have thought that someone who was indeffed for anger control issues would have tried a little harder to keep his cool. I have blocked you for 24 hours so you can cool off on this Seth Rollins thing. It's absolutely mind-boggling that neither of you opted to open a discussion on the article's talk page and instead decided to flimsily discuss via edit summaries. The moment that you find resistance from another editor about a piece of information, that's your clue to open a discussion ASAP. There is asbolutely no reason why a piece of data, even if incorrect, couldn't remain in the article until the dispute is resolved. Wikipedia has no deadline. Edit-warring is not only disruptive to the article, it's also extraordinarily irritating to people who have the article watchlisted. Busy editors do not want to see their watchlist blow up with childish revert wars. I have protected the article for 48 hours. When your block expires in 24, my recommendation is that the first thing you do is open a discussion on the article's talk page. Good luck, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:55, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Dusty finals
I am not aware that the Dusty finals were ever announced as a main event for NXT TakeOver. See WWE.com says with the finals taking place at the next NXT TakeOver. Whereas, the women's match has been labelled as The MAIN EVENT by HHH. starship.paint ~ KO 05:38, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Your edit page was edited...
Just FYI — Your userpage was edited by SethAdam99. You can read the edit summary there. I have reverted his edit because we generally don't edit another's userpage unless it is vandalism or there is a major problem. I did tell him about it and to talk to you, but I can't see that happening anytime soon as it looks like he will just blank his talk page. Yes, you'll probably see it in your watchlist, but I thought I'd just let ya know here as well. Corkythehornetfan 01:18, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Please do not revert this article again. Regardless of what the WGAR-FM online schedule says, your claim that the station now airs The Bob & Tom Show in the evening hours is demonstrably false. The show has not aired on traditional over-the-air FM for two straight nights. The show does has not aired online for two straight nights. Sometimes sources are inaccurate or flat out wrong, and this is clearly one of those cases. It would be absurd to "let it play out" before restoring accurate content. Content reflects reality, not the other way around. Levdr1lp / talk 06:14, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

Help with new article
Hi Vjmlhds. Would you happen to know who the project coordinator is for Wikiproject Professional wrestling? I'm interested in nominating Lutte Internationale as a DYK article (and possibly improving it to a GA-class article) but I'm not sure where to start. I was hoping I could speak to a member of your project who has experience with this.
I hope I'm not bothering you. I posted a similar message on another member's talkpage but I just noticed he's not active on Wikipedia right now. Thanks for your time. 72.74.202.10 (talk) 02:41, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

If you wish to revisit the issue of how to word headings in the WMMS programming section, then you are welcome to do so on the WMMS talk page (specifically, under Talk:WMMS#99X). In the meantime, however, I will continue to remove any heading-related changes you make without discussing first. You yourself said "case closed" on the matter, and I intend to take you on your word. Levdr1lp / talk 19:27, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

WikiCup 2015: The results
WikiCup 2015 is now in the books! Congrats to our finalists and winners, and to everyone who took part in this year's competition.
This year's results were an exact replica of last year's competition. For the second year in a row, the 2015 WikiCup champion is Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points). All of his points were earned for an impressive 253 featured pictures and their associated bonus points (5060 and 1695, respectively). His entries constituted scans of currency from all over the world and scans of medallions awarded to participants of the U.S. Space program. Cwmhiraeth (submissions) came in second place; she earned by far the most bonus points (4082), for 4 featured articles, 15 good articles, and 147 DYKs, mostly about in her field of expertise, natural science. Cas Liber (submissions), a finalist every year since 2010, came in third, with 2379 points.
Our newcomer award, presented to the best-performing new competitor in the WikiCup, goes to Rationalobserver (submissions). Everyone should be very proud of the work they accomplished. We will announce our other award winners soon.
A full list of our award winners are:
- Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points) wins the prize for first place and the FP prize for 330 featured pictures in the final round.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) wins the prize for second place and the DYK prize for 160 did you knows in the final round (310 in all rounds).
- Cas Liber (submissions) wins the prize for third place and the FA prize for 26 featured articles in all rounds.
- West Virginian (submissions) wins the prize for fourth place
- Calvin999 (submissions) wins a final 8 prize.
- Rationalobserver (submissions) wins a final 8 prize.
- Harrias (submissions) wins a final 8 prize and the FL prize for 11 featured lists.
- Rodw (submissions) wins the most prizes: a final 8 prize, the GA prize for 41 good articles, and the topic prize for a 13-article good topic and an 8-article featured topic, both in round 3.
- ThaddeusB (submissions) wins the news prize for the most news articles in round 3.
We warmly invite all of you to sign up for next year's competition. Discussions and polls concerning potential rules changes are also open, and all are welcome to participate. The WikiCup judges will be back in touch over the coming months, and we hope to see you all in the 2016 competition. Until then, it only remains to once again congratulate our worthy winners, and thank all participants for their involvement! It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for December 5
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ohio State Buckeyes football, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tim Beck (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WikiCup 2016 is just around the corner...
Hello everyone, and we would like to wish you all a happy holiday season. As you will probably already know, the 2016 WikiCup begins in the new year; there is still time to sign up. There are some changes we'd like to announce before the competition begins.
After two years of serving as WikiCup judge, User:Miyagawa has stepped down as judge. He deserves great thanks and recognition for his dedication and hard work, and for providing necessary transition for a new group of judges in last year's Cup. Joining Christine (User:Figureskatingfan) and Jason (User:Sturmvogel 66) is Andrew (User:Godot13), a very successful WikiCup competitor and expert in Featured Pictures; he won the two previous competitions. This is a strong judging team, and we anticipate lots of enjoyment and good work coming from our 2016 competitors.
We would also like to announce one change in how this year's WikiCup will be run. In the spirit of sportsmanship, Godot13 and Cwmhiraeth have chosen to limit their participation. See here for the announcement and a complete explanation of why. They and the judges feel that it will make for a more exciting, enjoyable, and productive competition.
The discussions/polls concerning the next competition's rules will be closed soon, and rules changes will be made clear on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring and talk pages. The judges are committed to not repeating the confusion that occurred last year and to ensuring that the new rules are both fair and in the best interests of the competition, which is, first and foremost, about improving Wikipedia.
If you have any questions or concerns, the judges can be reached on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, on their talk pages, or by email. We hope you will all join us in trying to make the 2015 WikiCup the most productive and enjoyable yet. You are receiving this message because you are listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. WikiCup 2016: Game On!
We are about to enter the second week of the 2016 WikiCup. The most recent player to sign up brings the current total to 101 contestants. Signups close on 5 February. If you’re interested, you can join this year's WikiCup here.
We are aware that in some areas the scoring bot’s numbers are a little bit off (i.e., overly generous) and are working to have that corrected as soon as possible.--MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:04, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Question about List of WWE personnel
I know that Total Divas returns next Tuesday and I wanted to ask if it's ok to move Mandy/Amanda Saccomanno to either Female wrestlers or Other on-air personnel on List of WWE personnel page? I've asked on the talk page of List of WWE personnel and have yet to receive an answer.--Keith Okamoto (talk) 18:18, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Keith Okamoto: Total Divas is considered a main roster show, so if Mandy is a part of that, then she goes on the main roster. Yes, she might wrestle in NXT to start, but since Total Divas is a main roster show, that takes precedence. Vjmlhds (talk) 18:35, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Shared division titles
Just FYI, the Big Ten actually does award and recognize shared division titles. See this article. That doesn't necessarily mean the division winner goes to the championship game, though, so has very little meaning outside an excuse to hang a banner or make a t-shirt. --JonRidinger (talk) 16:10, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Gallows
Hi. Do you have any source about ROH recogizing Gallows as the NWA Womens champion? I saw Twitter, Facebook and ROHWrestling.com and I found nothing about Gallows as NWA Champion in ROH. not even the ROH New mentions the NWA title --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 11:11, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
- Again, do you have a source to reflect ROH recogniced Gallows as NWA Womens champion? In every new and report, I never read anything about the NWA Women's title, not event here. Also, it's not true. For example, Hanson is the Northeast Wrestling Champion, Adam Page is the Premier Wrestling Xperience and Wrestle Force Tag Team champion... Strong is the current PWG World Champion. ROH chooses what titles outside ROH are recognized. They recognized the IWGP titles and, for some reason, Del Rio AAA title (however, not the WWL title) and right now, we don't have any source about Gallows as the NWA Womens Champion. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:08, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Cleveland Indians template talk
Moving my post from Template talk:Cleveland Indians#Frank Robinson to this talk page as the discussion was drifting away from improving the contents of that template:
- I sincerely hope that if/when we have another disagreement that you won't be so quick to throw out accusations that I'm trying to stir up conflict or single you out. I assume good faith on your part -- that your views are sincere and that you are trying to improve the content of this encyclopedia. Please do me the same courtesy. Knockouts
Hi,
I remembered that you said that all of the aforementioned Knockouts have wrestled during the UK tapings of the show.
