Cobb Theatres is an American cinema chain based in Birmingham, Alabama. Cobb presently operates 18 locations with 232 screens, the majority of which are in Florida, with others in Alabama, Virginia, and Colorado plus a new location under construction in Georgia.
The company was established in 1921 in Alabama, expanding through the South, and buying out General Cinema and Wometco Theatres. It was bought by Regal Entertainment Group in 1997. The new Cobb Theatres was established in 2000.

Shooting incident
On January 13, 2014, Chad Oulson was killed and his wife Nicole Oulson was wounded in a shooting at Grove 16 & CineBistro 6 in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Police believe the suspect Curtis Reeves got angry after a conflict over texting on a phone before the movie Lone Survivor started.[1][2][3]
