Born on July 22, 1974, Miss Kwok immigrated to [[Vancouver]], [[Canada]] to be a flight attendant and study. After finishing her studies, she flew back to Hong Kong in 1999. Then she competed at the '''[[Miss Hong Kong]]''' [[1999]] pageant. Before the semifinal, she was a big favorite for the crown because her figure and looks. In the semifinal, she took the '''Miss Photogenic''' award. Having won that, she was a big favorite for the crown because in Miss Hong Kong (1996-2001), all the winners won the Miss Photogenic award. She also took the award and won the title of Miss Hong Kong in late July. She also bagged 2 other awards, '''Miss International Goodwill''' and '''Miss Intelligence.''' She continued the streak of winners takes all for Miss Hong kong. Note: The winners from 1997-2000 were all from overseas, or [[Vancouver]], [[Canada]].
