Sorry, but I think that the information is relevant for the introduction. The titles are three important titles in the indy circuit, WORLD championships, so I think that is important to say it. Also, the introduction has the WHC Title, ROH Title, WWE Tag Team Title, GHC Title, IWPG Tag Team Junior title, Money in the Bank, US Title, but 3 more titles is going to far? I don't add every single title in his carrer, like APW or MCW, I put relevant titles. Also, you say that introduction is brief, but articles like Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker,or John Cena have huge introductions. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 14:21, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Reference fix

I fixed the formatting on the Big Chuck/Lil John references. You may want to look over the edit history to understand how exactly naming references works. Levdr1lp / talk 20:42, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see what you did there...I was trying to figure it out myself, but couldn't quite master the combination...I'll know next time...Thanks for the assist. (talk) Vjmlhds 20:46, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NAMEDREFS is pretty straightforward. Levdr1lp / talk 20:50, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It took me a couple of times through to soak it all in. Like I said, I saw what you did and gave WP:NAMEDREFS another look just to make sure. I'm all set now. (talk) Vjmlhds 20:55, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Dick Goddard looks okay. Levdr1lp / talk 21:11, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to see if I had the recipe down pat. (talk) Vjmlhds 21:13, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

So, in response to this edit summary, yes, people receive awards (apparently more than they win them). Levdr1lp / talk 17:17, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Meh. Not worth making a fuss over what's really a "tom-AY-toe/tom-AH-toe" situation. (talk) Vjmlhds 18:01, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There's a difference. Those who compete in a contest *win* awards. Those who are recognized for achievement *receive* awards. Were there other nominees the years Big Chuck received his Local Emmys? Was there a limit to the number of awards handed out? The gold/silver awards in particular appear to be more about length of service rather than winning out over fellow broadcasters. There's just something that strikes me as less WP:NPOV with "win" over "receive". Levdr1lp / talk 21:55, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You're right about the Gold/Silver Circle Awards, those are service time honors (Silver-25 years, Gold-50). With Big Chuck, you have to remember that his "day job" at channel 8 was as a producer and director, including the news department, so I'm sure a lot of his Emmys were won in competition with others in the Lower Great Lakes markets (though also acknowledging there may be a few "gold watch" Emmys in there too, especially in his later years). But as I said, I'm not going to fight over it...the way it's written now is fine by me. (talk) Vjmlhds 22:17, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But that's just it, isn't it? We don't really know anything specific about those Local Emmys. We don't know if Big Chuck beat out local or out-of-market competitors, or if BC merely mailed in a tape of a sketch and the LGL chapter decided to recognize him. This isn't about preference, it's about conveying what the sources say in the most neutral way possible. "Win" implies something we're unsure of-- "receive" does not. Now if you find a reliable source which states that BC beat out other nominees (entirely possible), then that's different. Again, content is and must always be based on available coverage in reliable sources (and nothing more). Levdr1lp / talk 22:29, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree completely...when it doubt, play it safe. I'm perfectly OK with "received" given all these different variables. I can assume everything until the cows come home, but I don't know for sure, and without a concrete source on all 29 Emmys, I'll go whichever way is the least likely to cause a fuss. If saying he's a 29-time Emmy Award recipient is the best thing to satisfy WP:POV, then by all means, I'm on board. I will not (without a solid-as-a-rock reference) even attempt to try to say whether he "won" this batch of Emmys or "received" this batch (as the proverbial "gold watch" in his retirement years). Whichever way keeps the train rolling along without speed bumps, I'm all for it (talk) Vjmlhds 00:18, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of TNA World Tag Team Champions may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on .

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 14:49, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rick Manning, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Broadcaster (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Retirement

A reminder, I am going to retire today until I am ready to come back to Wikipedia because things were pretty darn rough for me. This my farewell until I return. Ashbeckjonathan 21:29, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I may not ever come back to Wikipedia again. But it was pleasure that you gave me those awards and I really could use them as a special gift. Thank you. Anyway, take care and I hope that you would enjoy watching the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers. Ashbeckjonathan 02:10, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Self awarding

You still have not taken down the self-awarded "Half Barnstar" from your user page. Service awards are intended to be self-awarded -- barnstars are not. You might want to review the archived discussions below. Levdr1lp / talk 16:05, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I thought half-barnstars were supposed to be a "team effort" award...looking closer at it, I was wrong, so I removed it. I wasn't trying to pat myself on the back, I just thought I was doing what the half-star was intended for. Vjmlhds (talk) 17:38, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I figured. No harm done. Levdr1lp / talk 04:20, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Help

This user removes referenced content, and insists on putting a match to take place at Impact on 11/7 and not in Destination X (2013). Seems more concerned with himself than with the article. Sorry my bad english. 186.251.87.121 (talk) 01:35, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Whose Line Is It Anway?

I heard that whose line is it anyway is coming back again and it's pretty funny especially the Irish Drinking Songs. Have you watched whose line? If not, I have some clips for you even if you did and want to see it again, the Irish Drinking Songs by Colin Mochrie (some of them) are funny, especially the second Drew Carey Irish Drinking Song when Colin said everybody loves me, I started to laugh hard a little bit. The previous host of the American version was hosted by Drew Carey and it will be hosted by Aisha Tyler. Here are three clips I picked out:

 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUPeeIB5Puk
 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xitEpaR9AP0
 3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhNnmq8V8iM

Let me know what you think of these clips. WisconsinBoyClevelandRocks228844 (talk) 03:43, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Destination X

That is a different kind of spoiler. Like if it revealed the ending to a game or book or something of these sorts. As per WWE, if it hasnt aired, then it hasnt happened. They dont count title changes until they air. Same goes for TNA. If it hasnt aired then it hasnt happened. Nobody likes these kinds of spoilers. It just ruined my next two weeks of iMPACT. Other kinds of spoilers can go, but this is a different kind. BlackDragon 14:31, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, I won't send any YouTube clips and you stay off my talk page unless if it is Wikipedia related. Man, you are crabby. Don't give anymore awards. I will have someone else take care of it. WisconsinBoyClevelandRocks228844 (talk) 19:34, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
