When the article states that "Braun" is pronounced like "braun", does that mean it's pronounced "brawn"? And wouldn't that then be more clear than stating the obvious but utterly unhelpful fact that braun is pronounced braun? --Mudd1 (talk) 22:18, 15 March 2013 (UTC)

:Thinking the same thing. It is true that even official ads pronounce it something like brɒn, but we need a source, and something better than "braun", which as you've said is no help whatsoever. - Estoy Aquí (talk) 15:33, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Braun since Gilette

It is obvious that Braun lost its position as a promoter of vanguard design, when taken over by Gillette. Since then it is difficult to distinguish Braun from any main-stream design. And this can clearly be derived from the few illustrations on this page. By the way, I loved Braun. --R.P.D. 21:12, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The War Years?

The gap in the timeline between 1937 and the 1950s is too conspicuous. Something should be said to account for the company's participation in the war.Landroo 17:18, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I came here to read about the company's war involvement because I know it was, but I am not qualified to write about it. Ryan Scholl, NJ, US 3/10 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.88.128.240 (talk) 04:01, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

new page

Started a new page about the camera manufacturer Carl Braun camera-werk since a lot of camera pages link to this one, seemingly erroniously. Monk Bretton (talk) 21:04, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Coffee makers

Does anyone know the fate of Braun coffeemakers? In the last several years, they have become increasingly difficult to find in the United States, to the point where small online third-party retailers are selling former $40 models for upwards of $150. Trade dispute? Production flaws? Discontinued? I cannot figure it out. --Grahamdubya (talk) 16:28, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In case anyone is still wondering, I managed to get in touch with their customer service, and apparently Braun has discontinued all coffee makers (and hair curlers, as they accidentally informed me). --Grahamdubya (talk) 22:03, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Endless pronunciation loop

When the article states that "Braun" is pronounced like "braun", does that mean it's pronounced "brawn"? And wouldn't that then be more clear than stating the obvious but utterly unhelpful fact that braun is pronounced braun? --Mudd1 (talk) 22:18, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
