Baadshah (Template:Lang-te; Template:Lang-en) is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Srinu Vaitla. The film is produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameshwara Art Productions banner.^[2] It stars Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in their second film together after Brindavanam. The film was formally launched on March 18, 2012 and shooting began on the same day.^[3] The film is scheduled to release on January 11, 2013.^[1]

The film was launched in March 18 with Ram Charan and Venkatesh joined the function which was held at Ramanaidu studios.^[4] N. T. Rama Rao Jr’s Baadshah hit the sets on March 18. The film, directed by Srinu Vaitla, will be formally launched and shooting will begin the same day. The team that delivered a super hit like Dookudu is working in this film.^[5] N. T. Rama Rao Jr has gone lean to give a new look^[6] The film was supposed to be shot in Seoul instead Italy was selected as location.^[7] First schedule was initially said to be held in Europe^[8] but held at Italy^[9] and switzerland^[10] while next schedule will be held at bangkok.^[11]

Soundtrack is composed by Thaman collabarating with N. T. Rama Rao Jr for the second time and second time with director Srinu Vaitla. Music discussions was held in Öoty.^[12]

Venkat Garikapati and G. Hari Kumar of Hari Venkateswara Films bagged the distribution rights of this film for Guntur and Nellore rights were acquired by Sri Nikethan Films^[13]
