Galois group
Hi, you have just reverted my change in the article on Galois theory saying that: "revert - no, it fixes F pointwise (which doesn't mean it's the identity map, since F is not usually the whole of E)". Very well, but then maybe you should re-edit that parenthetical remark so that it says something about this pointwise fixing? As it stands now, I find it confusing, even though I know a little bit about groups and automorphisms (however I never got to Galois groups and fields :). Regards, Borys
- I've changed the wording a little. Is this is an improvement? If not, perhaps it would help if you could explain what it is that you find confusing (preferably on Talk:Galois group rather than here). --Zundark (talk) 12:05, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- Definitely an improvement, but I'm still unsure. Please see Talk:Galois group for the explanation. Regards, Borys (27.03.2011) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.213.206.177 (talk) 12:55, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Metro Silver Line
Hello, my name is Andy Cuenza & I wanted to ask whether you can fix the Metro Silver Line Page to include pictures. This is the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Line_%28Los_Angeles_Metro%29 I would like to ask whether any flickr photos can be shown on this page. I would like if you may add a picture below the line's name. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_Line_%28Los_Angeles_Metro%29 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.22.81.189 (talk) 22:48, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- You can't directly use flickr photos. You can only use images that have been uploaded to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. If the flickr photo you want to use has an appropriate licence (e.g., CC BY-SA), then you could upload it to Wikimedia Commons and it would then be available for use in any Wikipedia article. If it doesn't have an appropriate licence, you could try asking the copyright holder - they may be willing to allow its use under an acceptable licence. --Zundark (talk) 07:37, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
