Hi, I had removed the israel-geo-stub from various Israel geography articles... What do you think? I think youve just made a lot of work for whoever has to put them back again :( this was all discussed when the stub was made. israel-geo-stub is for anything that is likely to be edited by an editor who knows about israels geography - including west bank settlements. thats why we never used a map on the template. dont know who changed it to a map but it was a dumb idea and didnt go through WP:WSS like it was supposed to. i see its got the flag back now the way its supposed to have. its also the reason we dont use maps for countries like india and pakistan. it just starts edit wars of the template and doing that can cause server problems. BL Lacertae - kiss the lizard 04:04, 14 February 2006 (UTC) |

==Re: Noblesse== |
|||
I cannot provide such a source, the information comes from my own knowledge. All IDF bases containing prisoners (typically military police bases) have a certain amount of Noblesse to hand out because prisoners have the right to 10 free cigarettes on Friday and Saturday each (days in which they can't buy with their canteen money) [[Israeli military prison|[1]]]. At these bases, non-prisoners (especially prisoner commanders) can typically also acquire free Noblesse. Maybe I made it sound like it was a completely free handout 24/7 in the way that Bakum razor blades or toilet paper are given away (you only have to ask), but still, not everyone in the army has to buy Noblesse. |
|||
The only written source I know of that has this information is the prison commander study book, which I used myself on my course (I'm a prison commander; don't smoke though). This is an army booklet with no ISBN so it would be a little difficult in terms of verifyability. |

Re:yitzchak kaduri
I wasn't sure why you blanked the page, that's why I reverted you. What would you like to do with the page? --Nick123 (t/c) 23:09, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
The user yoninah moved the page Kaduri (and talk) to Kadouri by himself without the proper 'democratic' wikipedia process. The current content is okay, but the talk page should be moved back to Kaduri from Kadouri. I would like to move the Kadouri talk back as well.
--Shuki 23:19, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'm here responding to your help request. The pages Kaduri and Kadouri don't exist, are they the correct pages I should be looking at?--Commander Keane 00:50, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- sorry, Yitzchak Kaduri was moved to Yitzchak Kadouri and I would like to move it back to Yitzchak Kaduri and keep all the history as well as the talk page in order for proper voting to be carried out.
Thanks --Shuki 00:54, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's OK, I figured out you were talking about Yitzchak Kadouri. It would have been better for Yoninah to discuss the move first, but instead of reverting the hcange, why not discuss it at Talk:Yitzchak Kadouri and see if the reversion is neccesessary Maybe the new situation is better.--Commander Keane 00:56, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
argh! a voice of reason? :-) Okay, could you please totally revert my changes I've made on the Yitzchak Kaduri and Talk:Yitzchak Kaduri pages back to the yoninah redirect? Thanks.--Shuki 01:01, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I have reverted your changes to Yitzchak Kaduri and Talk:Yitzchak Kaduri. You should know that to properly perform a move there is a "Move" button, WP:MOVE has more info.--Commander Keane 01:14, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I know but reacted too quickly. Thanks again.--Shuki 01:23, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
wikipedia member abuse
Kindly refrain from suing your administrator position to force your POV on articles, and defame other editors, whose NPOV may happen to conflict with your one-sided statements. Just because somebody believes something and repeatedly places it on wikipedia does not make it so. The way you respond to this request will show whether you are interested in making wikipedia educational and neutral, or whether you are simply out to spread propaganda.......John Miller
Who is defaming you? Did you notice the difference between my coments and others? And don't turn my accusation back onto me, you are not even suggesting a solution. --Shuki 20:31, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
