Hi Majorimtab. I'm answering here, because where you posted your question wasn't really the right spot. Thanks very much for trying to help, but WP needs a more reliable source (e.g. newspapers, media) than the posting in order to include his death in the article. I personally don't doubt the accuracy of the report, but I'm sure you understand that rumours of deaths etc are sometimes greatly exaggerated. The Gabrielle Giffords shooting is a topical case in point, of course. As we don't want to make errors, we have high standards for the sourcing required for this sort of thing. I'm sure there will be more reliable sources soon, and we can add the info then. --Slp1 (talk) 23:08, 9 January 2011 (UTC) |

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Richard Winters. Thank you. The Resident Anthropologist (talk) 22:25, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Richard Winter --Jan.2, 2011
I'm relating this information to Wikipedia based on www.majordickwinters.com, his website administrator made a statement confirming the details as I entered. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Majorimstab (talk • contribs) 22:30, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:52, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
