Katie came into the firm fresh out of law school, being immediately handed a murder case. Despite this, she was able to handle both the case and herself as time progressed, showing an innate skill at the practice of law, both natural and taught to her by Jerry, that at the very least impresses [[Alan Shore]] rather nicely. She is seen to be one of the more "normal" associates at Crane, Poole & Schmidt and doesn't really get caught up in the usual hijinks that occur. Katie ends up sharing an office with [[Jerry Espenson]] for whom she became a friend and confidant. She ends up, unwittingly, caught up in a problematic situation regarding Jerry's girlfriend Leigh, who viewed Katie as a potential threat to their relationship. Eventually Katie and Jerry moved into a romantic relationship. |

Katie Lloyd is a fictional character in the ABC television series Boston Legal, having joined the show in its fourth season. An associate in the Boston-based law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt, She is played by British actress Tara Summers.
Katie came into the firm fresh out of law school, being immediately handed a murder case. Despite this, she was able to handle both the case and herself as time progressed, showing an innate skill at the practice of law, both natural and taught to her by Jerry, that at the very least impresses Alan Shore rather nicely.
