Night Whispers is the title of the 3rd book in the Warriors: Omen of the Stars series.^[1] Written under the pseudonym of Erin Hunter, three separate authors contribute to the story. Night Whispers will be released on August 8, 2010^[2].

The book centers around the prophecy "After the sharp-eyed jay and the roaring lion, peace will come on dove's gentle wing," given to Dovepaw in The Fourth Apprentice. This implies that Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Dovepaw must work together and use their powers wisely, or the battle with the cats of the Dark Forest will be lost.

It was also revealed on Kate Cary's blog that there will be a new point of view - a cat in another Clan. The cover features Flametail. The new point of view is his.
