Transvaal is a geographic term associated with land north (or beyond) the Vaal River in modern day South Africa. Multiple states and administrative divisions have carried the name Transvaal.
- South African Republic - Commonly called the Transvaal Republic.
- Transvaal Colony - British Colony after the UK's annexation of the South African Republic.
- Transvaal Province - Province of the Union of South Africa
