== WWE Championship's SmackDown Property ==

I know he's on Raw as part of the storyline with Mr. McMahon, but he's a SmackDown Superstar. So when he won the title off John Cena, it became SmackDown Exclusive. So there's no need to put it back on Raw when no Raw superstar is currently holding it.--[[User:Yugiohmike2001|Yugiohmike2001]] ([[User talk:Yugiohmike2001|talk]]) 19:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Vjmlhds, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! RE: You blocked me too quickly

I did not block you too quickly. A gave you a 3RR notice, followed by telling you what to do instead of edit warring. You should have discussed the issue first like I said, instead of starting an edit war. Next time, please be more careful with your actions. --LAX 20:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Again, you made the same edit without discussing first. Please discuss before reverting. --LAX 22:58, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You must discuss this with the WP:PW community, either at WT:PW or on the WWE roster talk page, not just me. --LAX 23:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now you understand. Sorry you had to learn the hard way. --LAX 23:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good, now just wait for a clear consensus before reverting. --LAX 23:23, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

Thank you for being frank and understanding where everyone is coming from. You are definately dedicated to improving the encyclopedia. I would highly reccomend paying attention to the WP:PW talk page and keep an eye on the type of discussions that go on there. LessThanClippers (talk) 00:48, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Show on Raw, the page as a whole

I've tried explaining these things to you a number of times. The best place to take discussions is the talk page, not while making edits. Trust the people who have worked on the project a while, and read and respond to the comments on the talk pages. Big Show is not a raw wrestler unless it is announced on the show, or wwe.com. By Infirring, you are doing original research, which is not allowed. LessThanClippers (talk) 01:40, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While you are right, he most likely is a RAW wrestler, RAW wrestlers are those who are branded to raw, and are listed as raw on their web page. This is an encyclopedia, and encyclopedias are not made up of original research, its a consolidation of research already done. Until he is listed on a brand at WWE.COM or announced on a brand on their show, we cant report what we think they are going to do. Also, think abck to MVP he was not orignialy on a brand, and his storyline was that he was a free agent. Maybe Show's storylne is that he doesnt even have a contract yet. We cant predict, again i point to WP:CRYSTAL.LessThanClippers (talk) 18:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Diva's title

The last time a new championship was supposedly announced before the draft, it's existence turned out to be unnecessary (SmackDown! Championship in 2005). Per WP:Verifiability, we are to wait until at least an actual belt is seen or presented, much in the same way the TNA Knockout's title was treated. --UnquestionableTruth-- 02:56, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The actual situations are different. However, one thing currently remains the same. A tournament was announced for a new championship before the draft ended (in this case before it starts). The winner ended up not being presented the title when a champion was drafted from another brand with his title to take the created title's place. Still due to the severity of the lack of information presently available about this new title, an article cannot be justified. A note of the mention that was made on tonight's episode is acceptable though.--UnquestionableTruth-- 03:10, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well they left SmackDown without a 4th "Divisional" Championship (Cruiserweight). You should also take a look at this. [1] Dirt sheets should be disregarded so take it for what it is.--UnquestionableTruth-- 03:23, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Typo, it happens. Like I said, dirt sheets should be disregarded so take them for they are, dirt sheets. Agreed. If we see a Diva's title actually contested at Night of Champions, or if we even see images of the actual belt surface before the event, then the title's existence will definitely be acknowledged. --UnquestionableTruth-- 03:37, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ashley's status within WWE

Ashley hasn't appeared on television for about a month and it looks like her name being brought up in the escort service scandal is the reason for her on-screen break. Is the following "source" reason enough to move her name to the list of inactive talent? http://www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=213313043

It doesn't say much other than WWE wanting her to keep quiet about everything, but her lack of TV time does seem to be due to that scandal, which I haven't heard much about recently. If she doesn't appear on Raw this coming Monday, would it then be OK to move her name to the inactive talent list? Miztahrogers (talk) 23:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edge and Hardy both came back and interfered in a match. Physical contact. Rey came back and appeared in the ring, but not in a physical way. Those guys you mentioned wrestled on Heat a few weeks back when it was still on, and if they don't appear next week, they will probably be moved to inactive. But Ashley has been gone for a few weeks. By the way, if you revert again, you will break 3RR, and I can report you to AIV, and you may be blocked. -- iMatthew T.C. 16:51, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I'm sure you noticed above, this is the 20th edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! It has come a long way since the first issue, and I'm sure it will only improve from here. I'd like to thank everyone reading this for continuing to read the newsletter, biweekly.

I'd like to especially thank those who have helped to get the newsletter to it's 20th edition; The Hybrid, The Chronic, TJ Spyke, Alex Roggio, LAX, ThinkBlue, Nikki311, GaryColemanFan, Gavyn Sykes, D.M.N., Naha, NiciVampireHeart, SRX, Zenlax and, RkOrton.

Also, lastly I'd like to thank Misza13, for sending the newsletter out for us, though his bot. His bot has to be the most important part of the process, because without it, the newsletter would not get sent to project members.

I know that's a long list, but they all deserve recognition for their hard work towards the newsletter. So again, thank you to that list of people, and thank you to all of the newsletter's biweekly readers. If you have an questions, comments, or feedback about the newsletter, remember those links below.

Hi, could you please take a look at the following, and look at the "blocking policy" one real closely, your not immune to getting a block, and if you keep this up I see one in your future, Best wishes!

SteelersFan94 18:13, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed that when you sign something on a talkpage you have t "Pipe link" your name well I made a custom signature for you that is exactly like that, now you can just put four "~"'s here's how you do it: 1.)Go to "My preferences" at the top of the page. 2)Go to where it says Raw signature (with the blank space) 3)Type (copy) this into it

Vjmlhds 4)Save it. 5)Then it should work.

SteelersFan94 21:39, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey would you like me to stack all of your userboxes like in four's or something? I can do it really fast and it would look kinda like this User:Steelerfan-94/Userboxes, I have a couple that I fucked up but I wouldn't do that with yours. Let me know CUl8r SteelersFan-94 18:06, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problem?

Forgive me for perhaps buying into second hand information but it's been brought to my attention perhaps you have taken issue with me in the editing process of WWE Employees. If you could cite something you feel I have been uncivil about, please do so because I'm unaware of such an instance. I wish to continue working toward elevating the quality of the article like the rest of the group. Hot Stuff International (talk) 21:24, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good to hear as I have been civil and respectful myself. I hope to see the page unprotected again soon enough! Hot Stuff International (talk) 23:38, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

==Inactive Talent on WWE Employee Page

Hey I just wanted to get your thoughts on some talent that could be considered "Inactive" before submitting them on that article's talk page.

RE: yir question on ANI

It varies, I've seen user's get a indef block with there first, it mainly depends on the severity of the "crime" if you will and if the user is repentant or not, He's probably looking at a longer term block I'd say probably six months or so. SteelersFan-94 05:17, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, to tell you the truth, I've seen countless user's who are just wanting to be trouble, start to get tired of getting blocked, and reverted. My point. He may just vanish after a-while due to frustration. Have you looked into WP:ROLLBACK RIGHTS, and WP:TWINKLE]]? Anybody can get twinkle and only established user'scan get roll back's, but I think you qualify for them for sure. Let me know if you want them and need help asking a admin, and/or installing twinkle. --SteelersFan-94 05:26, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oerius

Or whatever the name is. I don't think I spelled it correctly.

Make sure you give him the appropriate warnings (available here) before you report him to ANI. He's already been blocked once. Start with level 2 warnings since he knows the rules. If he won't cooperate, then take him to ANI. At least then we can say we tried to reason with him numerous times.  Hazardous Matt  17:53, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm copying a comment I made at the WWE roster talk page. "To make a comment I'd assume your a newbie, making threats to move something, isn't good." does that seem like an attack to you? I meant it like somebody like me or you (who's established) wouldn't threat to blow the page up. Could you give me your feedback on this please, and don't hold back. SteelersFan-94 19:46, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Someone though that was kinda an attack, It's taken care of now though. Notice what I did with the latest tables section on the WWE roster page? Copy/paste that if you see one of the "new user's" posts something again, say something on the lines of what I put. Also, I'm putting you on my wiki friends list. Editing tips

This is a new section in the newsletter to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style, which should help them in editing not only professional wrestling articles, but all articles in general.

  1. Avoid using bolding to emphasize text. See MOS:BOLD for appropriate uses of bold text.
  2. If you do not want your information removed from articles, please use proper grammar and cite your sources.
  3. Please avoid adding rumors to articles. Most rumors cannot be sourced with a reliable source and go against the Biographies of Living Persons policy.
  4. Avoid jargon such as face/babayface, heel, turn, etc. in articles. People unfamiliar with professional wrestling will not understand what these words mean. See WP:JARGON for more information.

Tag Team Titles on ECW/Raw

Please wait for a confirmation by WWE, do not speculate things like this until WWE confirms this per WP:SPECULATION.--SRX 19:05, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

That is not confirmation, that is a procedure by WWE. Before, WWE had the titles of the respective brands on their own superstars page even if the champions were not from that brand, this year they changed it for the draft. They may have changed the procedure again. There is not text directly stating that they are on ECW, please wait until WWE formerly confirms this.--SRX 19:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
In this case no because WWE has not directly stated where the belts are to stay, you are making your own judgment by saying that the belts are on ECW because they are on the ECW superstar page, well um Morrison and Miz are on ECW so where else are they going to go. Wait until WWE makes a direct statement about it, like tomorrow night on Raw.--SRX 19:20, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Those were all draft related. This occurred 6 months from the draft.--SRX 19:39, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Once again, WWE does not directly state that. All they say is Shortly after winning the Slammy Award for Best Tag Team of the Year, The Miz & John Morrison provided further evidence to their claims of being the greatest tag team of the 21st century by defeating CM Punk & Kofi Kingston at a WWE Live Event in Hamilton, Ontario to become the new World Tag Team Champions. Nothing noting a brand title change. Can you not wait one night to officially find out instead of violating WP:SPECULATION.--SRX 19:59, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Maybe this doesn't go through your head, show me with a direct link to that policy.--SRX 20:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Um, I said policy [on wiki] not the change that you are judging.--SRX 20:14, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
There was never a policy, we list them by brands according to what WWE directly states. Please discuss before further reverts at WT:PW#Compromise over brand exclusive titles.--SRX 20:18, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

December 2008

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on World Tag Team Championship (WWE). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. SRX 20:17, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

TNA/IWGP

TNA does not recognize IWGP Titles. They briefly (for a few weeks) mentioned Kurt Angle's IWGP Third Belt Championship (which was a IGF title, not NJPW) and Tomko's tag title, but that's it. They soon stopped mentioning both and have never mentioned any IWGP title since then. So there is no reason to mentioned titles which TNA themselves never mentioned and which never appear on TV. TJ Spyke 05:45, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Generally the roster page is for titles actually defended in the promotion (like how the NWA Title was on the ROH page while they had a deal, or how the FIP titles are mentioned on ROH). Since they are not TNA titles and are never even shown, in my opinion it shouldn't be mentioned on their roster page. We haven't done it in the past either, we didn't mention when Jeff Jarrett was the NWA Cyberspace Heavyweight Champion for example. 06:19, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

WWE Titles

We are not picking and choosing. WWE has never said that the World Tag Team Titles belong to ECW, only that they are held by ECW wrestlers (who are allowed to compete on all 3 brands. WWE has specifically said that the World Heavyweight Title IS a SmackDown title now though: [2]. Specifically this these 2 sentences; "The most intriguing fact behind the mayhem, however, is that the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania is a mere six weeks away and the two top titles in WWE now belong to the Friday night brand. With newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion Edge and WWE Champion Triple H sharing the SmackDown stage, just how erratic will the Road to WrestleMania get?". If you can find a source that has WWE saying the WTTC is a ECW title (and not just held by ECW wrestlers and thus displayed on the ECW page), then that would change things. TJ Spyke 20:10, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I could use your very argument to support me. I provided evidence that WWE considers the WHC to be a SmackDown title now. We can't say that about the WTTC, all wwe.com says is that it's held by ECW superstars. TJ Spyke 20:19, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For the THIRD time, we did not switch the WHC to SmackDown based on it being listed on the SmackDown page. We did it (and I was not the one who moved it) because wwe.com has specifically said it belongs to SmackDown now. When has WWE EVER said that the WTTC belong to ECW? Unless you can provide that proof, it would violate WP:OR to list it as a ECW title. So againt: there is a source for the WHC belonging to SmackDown, there is not a source for the WTTC belonging to ECW. TJ Spyke 20:30, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did to World Wrestling Entertainment, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. TJ Spyke 20:38, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You do realize you just presented more evidence against your side? 1)It only says that the tag titles are held by members of the ECW roster (not that it was a ECW title), and 2)That was just speculation about what Vince would do when he came back. TJ Spyke 20:40, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's talking about making a set of tag belts exclusive to Raw (meaning ECW superstars couldn't win them). Nowhere does it say though that the belts were exclusive to ECW. It was agreed at WP:PW to use the current note (stating that Raw and ECW share the belts since it is a Raw belt but held by ECW wrestlers). TJ Spyke 21:43, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Where has TNA used the term Grand Slam Championship? You can't make up your own definition or say that TNA has recognized it without proof. TJ Spyke 23:47, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I left a note on that article's talkpage. Basically, when during the show did Tenay say that (I don't recall him saying it). I also would feel more confidant if we waited until TNA's site mentioned it. TJ Spyke 23:53, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The outside source does not say that Tenay used the term. The author says "on a note, AJ Styles is...", meaning it's the authors opinion. It would be like a site saying "The Big Show was the first Triple Crown world champion by winning the WWE, WCW, and ECW Titles". TJ Spyke 00:00, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TNA Triple Crown

I reverted your edits on the above articles since, a note is not needed regrading the Grand Slam Championship. AJ is still a potential four time Triple Crown champion so he should be in the list. Also his Tag reign with Tomko can contribute to another Triple Crown championship.--WillC---Joe's gonna kill you!!!) 00:50, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring on Mike Mizanin

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mike Mizanin. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Quite frankly, I'm suprised you haven't warned about this already today. You've gone past three reverts, on to 6, in the last 22 hours. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Any more, and you will be reported for edit-warring.
In addition, you need to read WP:SYNTH. Especially the part where it says that all the information in articles should '"attributable to a source that makes this statement explicitly". Does this wwe.com's titles= history explicity say that Miz is the first person to hold three championships at the same time? No, it doesn't. Provide a source that does say this, or leave it out.

Hello again. I noticed you haven't had an opportunity to respond yet on the thread I linked to above, so I just wanted to throw out another invitation to do so.
Also, the reversion you made to restore the bolding on the list of personalities is contrary to MOS:BOLD. Rather than making bad changes for the sake of consistency, it would be more helpful -- although more labor-intensive -- to make your changes to articles that are incorrectly formatted.
As a closing note, the edit history on WEWS, as well as your own editing history, suggest that you may be approaching behavior that reasonable editors would characterize as edit warring. You would probably do yourself and everyone else a favor by making heavier use of the talk page than the undo button. — Bdb484 (talk) 16:43, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WWE Championship's SmackDown Property

I know he's on Raw as part of the storyline with Mr. McMahon, but he's a SmackDown Superstar. So when he won the title off John Cena, it became SmackDown Exclusive. So there's no need to put it back on Raw when no Raw superstar is currently holding it.--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 19:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
