"Fabless semiconductor company" is a very common term in the semi industry (and "Foundries" manufacture their designs), and the Xilinx story sounds right; I don't know the other company.

Changed the category from [[Category:Electronics manufacturing]] back to [[Category:Semiconductor_device_fabrication]], which is a subcategory of the first. Fabless semiconductor companies do not produce other electronics than semiconductor electronics. Please explain why if you do not agree. --mabahj 00:12, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Should the list of output by company be in chronological or reverse chronological order (as it is now). It seems most lists go from old to new (top to bottom), so change over time is evident.
