Should the list of output by company be in chronological or reverse chronological order (as it is now). It seems most lists go from old to new (top to bottom), so growth/change over time is evident. I don't know if there's a Wiki policy on this, but it might be worth reversing. Self-promotion

I'd be curious to know if this article was written by one of the folks mentioned in it. Hopefully it's not a case of self-advertising. -- Nonstopdrivel 04:04, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm in a related field and know that the terminology is not BS. The specific folks mentioned, I dunno. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 20:24, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Fabless semiconductor company" is a very common term in the semi industry (and "Foundries" manufacture their designs), and the Xilinx story sounds right; I don't know the other company.

Western Design Center is a fabless semiconductor company and has been so since 1981.

Category

Changed the category from [[Category:Electronics manufacturing]] back to [[Category:Semiconductor_device_fabrication]], which is a subcategory of the first. Fabless semiconductor companies do not produce other electronics than semiconductor electronics. Please explain why if you do not agree. --mabahj 00:12, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Citations

There's almost no citations on this article. One reference to an outside site. Most of this seems like it is unsourced. I added the refimprove template to the top. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colinbartlett (talk • contribs) 00:05, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Output list

Should the list of output by company be in chronological or reverse chronological order (as it is now). It seems most lists go from old to new (top to bottom), so change over time is evident. I don't know if there's a Wiki policy on this, but it might be worth reversing. 71.224.206.164 (talk) 13:01, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
