Urak is a valley surrounded by mountains in the province of Balochistan in Pakistan. It is located near Hana Lake, and 21 kilometres from Quetta city.[1]
Urak has a population of 15,000 and 100% are Kakar a sub caste Pashtun. This valley is used for growing apple trees of good quality. It has a small waterfall in the end from where the Wali Tangi valley begins.
Due to poverty and less agriculture land, the people of Urak are unable to allow the visitors to pluck the apples without permission because, Urak is the only place visited by uncountable people of Quetta and tourists for entertainment due to its peacefulness and the smooth behavior of people living over there. Therefore it is impossible to allow visitors to pluck the apple.
