Questions about Martin's truthfulness |

I considered the book "Hostage to the Devil" a very good read. But was Malachi Martin really the man he wanted others to believe he was? There are certain incriminating facts that seem to blemish his stature as a true and devoutful Christian. Question is how to interpret these facts. Are they true or false. Questions about Martin's truthfulness I considered the book "Hostage to the Devil" a very good read. But was Malachi Martin really the man he wanted others to believe he was? There are certain incriminating facts that seem to blemish his stature as a true and devoutful Christian. Question is how to interpret these facts. Are they true or false. Read the comments on this man by Michael Hoffman II.
When this story first broke, many months ago, I researched everything I could find on Robert Blair Kaiser.
- Even his friends and supporters admit that he was mentally unstable for decades, so anything the guy says about his own life must be doubted, and much more the lives of others.
- It may be true that there are facts about Martin that don't put him in a good light and he may have been less than truthful about certain facts concerning his life and about other things, however, it seems that much of what is written about the practice of exorcism and in his book Hostage to the Devil seems to agree quite closely with what Father Gabriele Amorth has written in his two books on exorcism.
