My RFA

Thanks for taking the time to comment in my RFA. Maybe you could explain in a bit more detail what you mean by "it seems too soon". I would appreciate any feedback. - Haukur Þorgeirsson 20:42, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! That was a pleasant surprise :) - Haukur Þorgeirsson 21:16, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I echo these comments! Always makes me happy to see a returned editor. Welcome back, Private! Cheers, Bratschetalk | Esperanza 03:34, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your vote on my RFA

Now that the voting has officially closed, I would like to thank you very much for supporting my candidacy for adminstrator and as of 18:36, 28 October 2005 (UTC) I am an administrator. I will make sure to use the additional power judiciously and I welcome any comments you may have. --Reflex Reaction 19:39, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tomf688's RfA

Well, it seems I'm now an administrator. I wanted to thank you for your vote of confidence, and, as always, feel free to drop me a line at any time. --tomf688{talk} 01:00, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Smile, dear Private!

I'm so sorry it took me a short while to get back to you, my dear Private. It's great news that you've returned to us... and better than ever, I hope! Sometimes, we all need a short break to take a deep breath, gather our strengths back, and face back the daily struggle with renewed optimism and energy. I'm sure the experience has been for the better, and although we have missed you in the meantime, if your temporary absence has served to keep you with us for a long time, then I'm glad we paid the price. Welcome back, dear Private! Warmest hugs, and please, don't leave again! Shauri smile! 02:45, 29 October 2005 (UTC) [reply]

My RfA

Thank you for your support! If you should ever have any concerns about my actions as an administrator (or if you think I'm just being too humorous ;-) ), please be sure to tell me! Kirill Lokshin 13:37, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dvyost RfA Thanks

Thanks for your support on my RfA! Rest assured that I'll do my best to wield the mop with honor and righteousness. Cheers! --Dave 14:48, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Jim Gordan

The Jim Gordan image you marked as "promotional". Unless Jim is product, it isn't promomtional. Also you failed to mention the source. I have marked it as no source which means it may be deleted without further notice seven days from now. Zeimusu | Talk page 15:57, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

RfA voting

I must say I don't get your vote on Wackymacs' RFA. He uses edit summaries about 60% of the time, therefore... he'll abuse the tools? I understand not lending your support for those, but really, is opposing him necessary? I'm not sending this message to Xoloz as his opposition makes a lot more sense, but edit summary percentage seems to have absolutely no connection to being an admin, other than it may be understandable that you want admins to be of the highest quality, but then again, we really need as many as we can get, provided they don't abuse them, and as far as I know, sub-70 edit summaries doesn't indicate abuse. • I'm sorry to hear you say that I am just a Joe Somebody and not deserving, I'm also sorry to read that you find Wikipedia an unimportant project. You cannot go around Wikipedia being rude to people you don't know, I find your comments very rude and inconsiderate, you cannot call someone you don't know a Joe Somebody and not deserving. I'm also curious as to why you are on Wikipedia at all if you think it is an unimportant project in the first place. — Wackymacs 20:02, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My RFA

My RFA

I want to thank you for voting in my RFA even though u opposed me I understand why. Thanks Again --JAranda | watz sup 23:06, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hang in there

I saw your note. Things must seem bad, but they usually aren't as bad as they seem. Your contributions here are valued, and I'm sure your contributions in other pursuits are valued too. I never finished reading your screenplay, but what I read was good. Be well. -Willmcw 23:09, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello, Private Butcher. I'm really, really sorry to hear that things have fallen apart so badly, and that you've started using methadone again. I will respect your wishes, and say "Good luck", rather than "Please come back". I don't think anybody wants you to leave Wikipedia, and I assure you that there will be many peope who will rejoice if you come back some time and tell us you're fine. But the most important thing is that you must get help. Please, please do that. I hope to see you back, but I hope even more that you'll get the help and treatment that you need. Remember how much God loves you. You'll be in my prayers. Ann Heneghan (talk) 00:33, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey you

  • Hey you, take a look ^ up there. I don't see anybody screwin' around with your head, just folks who give a damn about you. Stay or leave for a while or whatever, so long as you know that we care. Care enough to challenge your intellect and not just humor you or blow you off. I'd be really pissed if I saw you being marginalized but that's not what I see going on. But wtf do I know, I just call 'em as I see 'em. See ya at RFA as usual, with every candidate tryin' to get your approval.  ;-) --hydnjo talk 01:57, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your Departure

I'm glad that you are doing what is right. In my eyes, this makes you more mature and responsible than a lot of people that I know, Wikipedia and otherwise. I wish you all the best, and good luck with your endeavors once again. God Bless, Bratschetalk | Esperanza 03:57, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to second the above. Getting help is the best thing you can do. Good luck in whatever you do.--Sean|Black 04:10, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your break

I hope you're doing alright. Good luck with everything, and peace profound. --Merovingian (t) (c) (e) 04:29, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
