Massospondylidae is a dinosaur family of the Infraorder Prosauropoda. The Massospondylidae were part of the suborder Sauropodomorpha, which were long-necked, herbivorous dinosaurs. Massospondylidae may include Coloradisaurus, Glacialisaurus, Lufengosaurus, Massospondylus, Yunnanosaurus, and Jingshanosaurus; recent phylogenetic analyses have found a core of Coloradisaurus, Lufengosaurus and Massospondylus,[1] potentially with recently described Glacialisaurus.[2]
