I'm from the Czech Republic and work as an SW developer. Most of my edits are about that country and software, but way too much of my time is taken up dealing with vandals. (I have found that during summer 2005 the amount of vandalism from high schools in the Northern Hemisphere has dropped but vandalism from Australian high schools has jumped up.)

Amount of spam has increased from the situation a year ago, and the spammers are getting more sophisticated. One common trick is to create a half-baked clone of a Wikipedia article and add a link here with a claim of "relevant" information. Another used trick is to create a username, add a few links and repeat.
