Orphaned non-free media (Image:Beschi.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Beschi.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good job on creating the page on English words of Tamil origin! Wiki Raja 03:57, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arul! Noticed that you redirected the above page to Vailankanni. I believe that the Basilica should be a standalone article. Surely needs to be expanded, but meet WP:NOT to stay alone. Cheers ώiki Ѕαи Яоzε †αLҝ 08:25, 4 October 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for your message. Apologies if you had thought I was rude. Let me know about your views on having a WP:disambiguation page for Velankanni linking to Velankanni Matha and Velankanni town. Cheers ώiki Ѕαи Яоzε †αLҝ 06:30, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Velankanni

Hi Arul! Just a quick question about etymology of Velankanni. I remember reading in one of the Church booklets as Vellai + Kanni ie. White + Virgin. Is this right? Noticed that the entry on the town states it as Town of Virgin. I don't recollect any Tamil usage of town as Velai, other than oour or Sanskrit derivative of naragaram. Cheers ώiki Ѕαи Яоzε †αLҝ 06:31, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar for you
