== [[Brand X]] == |
|||
The [[Brand X]] article has had a long history of vandalism by someone named {{vandal|Kenwood 3000}}. Using a number of sockpuppets, he has a history of mentioning this "Ian Hart-Stein" hoax pretty frequently in this article and also in [[John Goodsall]]. You might want to put both articles on your watchlist, and if you see this vandalism taking place, use the "Undo" feature or edit a previous version of the page to remove the vandalism. If you have any questions, let me know -- I've been fighting this vandalism for months. --[[User:Elkman|Elkman]] - [[User talk:Elkman|(Elkspeak)]] 15:35, 7 January 2007 (UTC) |

==AfD nomination of [[D.A. Waite, Jr.]]== |
|||
An editor has nominated [[D.A. Waite, Jr.]], an article on which you have worked or that you created, for [[Wikipedia:Deletion process|deletion]]. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "[[WP:NOT|What Wikipedia is not]]"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at {{#if:D.A. Waite, Jr. | [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/D.A. Waite, Jr.]] | [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/D.A. Waite, Jr.]] }} and please be sure to [[WP:SIG|sign your comments]] with four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the [[WP:AfD|articles for deletion]] template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. '''Please note:''' This is an automatic notification by a [[WP:BOT|bot]]. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Hey, didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you or anything; I must apologize, I've got just about every ''Dune'' page on my watchlist and there are always a lot of crazy things added and changed with no rhyme or reason. And honestly, the OR "rules" can be so nebulous, especially when you're talking about such an obvious influence as this. Anyway, I'll look at the quotes and think about it and try to find a way to put it in. [[User:TAnthony|TAnthony]] 15:16, 4 April 2007 (UTC) |

:No big deal - I would have been more prudent to have double-checked that. Live and learn. Not sure how there could be an objection to "Herbert wrote A, Watts wrote B" in the proper article -- particularly because it ''is'' an extremely interesting reference.
