Features and Problems
What follows is a description of FlashGet(JetCar) 1.65
Pros
- Interfaces quite well with Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox
- Can download a sequence of files using simple rules
- Has a Site Explorer to scour websites
- Support for many languages
Annoyances
- Only for Windows
- For browsers other than Internet Explorer you need to download an extension, or set it up manually.
- Some browsers prompt you asking what you want to do with a file download, and you must select to use FlashGet, and then another, very complicated dialogue box pops up for download information
- Can't change the download path
- Displays ads and pops-up ad windows (in Internet Explorer)
