Jürgen Barth was a German engineer at Porsche who went into motorsport, to win the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1977 in a Porsche 936, with Jacky Ickx and Hurley Haywood. Barth also wrote a detailed book about Porsche's racing history, and later would help in the creation of the BPR Global GT Series.

Jürgen Barth was the son of formula one driver Edgar Barth.
