Upon request, I will perform most advanced actions that I can perform at my discretion. These actions include but are not limited to, editing protected pages, reviewing pages at articles for creation or new pages patrol, reviewing pending changes, sending mass messages and mass-rollbacking edits. There are sections with the requirements for me to perform these actions below.
Editing protected pages
I have a simple criteria for making protected page edits.
They are:
- You are unable to make the change yourself, either from a lack of rights, or a conflict of interest.
- Any information added should be supported by 1 or more reliable sources.
- You provide the request in a 'change X to Y' format.
If you would like me to perform a protected page edit, please leave me a message on User talk:Zippybonzo
I can also override the title block list, which allows me to add edit notices and edit some pages that are restricted to template editors, page movers and administrators. I can also override the account title blacklist and create some restricted account names, though I will be inclined to decline such requests.
Reviewing drafts
I will review a draft at articles for creation, upon request on my talk page, assuming you and the draft meet the following criteria.
- The draft has not been deleted for any copyright infringement in the past.
- You have not been blocked for undisclosed paid editing, copyright violations, promotional edits or having a conflict of interest in the past.
- The draft is currently submitted for articles for creation review.
I will then review the draft for you under the usual draft review criteria.
Reviewing pages
I will review any page upon request, again assuming:
- The page has not been deleted for copyright infringement in the past.
- You have not been blocked for undisclosed paid editing, copyright violations, promotional edits or having a conflict of interest in the past.
I will then review the page as per normal.
Reviewing pending changes
I will review any pending changes upon request, however please keep in mind that most users are autoreviewed, and you are likely to be too.
Sending mass messages
My criteria for sending mass-messages is somewhat strict, being that the mass-message tool, is in my opinion one of the most powerful tools on the site. I will usually send a mass message if it meets one of the following criteria that I have set out below.
If the message is not sending to a subscribed mailing list:
- The message is sending to under 100 users.
- You are not a mass-message sender.
- The message is not canvassing.
- The users the message is sending to are highly likely to read and/or respond to the message.
- The message is able to send to a test page without producing any unintentional formatting issues.
If the message is sending to a subscribed mailing list:
- The message is part of a WikiProject or equivalent (i.e NPP/AFC) or a backlog drive
- You are not a mass-message sender.
- The message is able to send to a test page without producing any unintentional formatting issues
- The message is not canvassing.
If the message is sending as part of an event notification.
- The users the message is sending to are likely to respond to the message.
- You are not a mass-message sender.
- The message isn't canvassing.
- The message is able to send to a test page without producing any unintentional formatting issues.
- The message is sending to under 200 users.
Mass-rollbacking
I will mass-rollback any edits upon request as long as they meet the strict criteria below.
- All rollbacks must meet the rollback use policy.
- You are not a rollbacker.
- There are between 10 and 1000 edits that need rollbacking.
- I will require either a list of edits, or a user and the timeframe of the edits to rollback.
- You have not had the rollback permission revoked in the past.
- You have not been blocked in the past for disruptive editing or vandalism.
- The edits are clearly problematic or an RfC has determined them to need reverting.
Controversial edits
I will perform any controversial edits upon request on my talk page. I will politely ask that if you can, you make the edit.
Moving pages
I am a page mover, meaning I can perform some additional actions when moving pages.
My criteria are below.
Using suppressredirect:
- It meets the redirect suppression criteria.
- You do not already have the suppressredirect right (excluding global rollbackers)
- The move is uncontroversial.
Using move-subpages:
- You can't do it yourself.
- The move is uncontroversial or in your user space.
Moving pages over redirects:
- You can't do it yourself.
- It's an uncontroversial move.
Other actions
I will perform any other advanced action under this criteria:
- You cannot perform the action yourself.
- The action doesn't breach any policies.
- You have not been blocked or warned at or above level 3 for disruptive editing or vandalism in the past month.
Note
These criteria are not exhaustive, I may decline a request for me to perform an action at my discretion.
Thanks for your participation in advance,
