I find the outcome of this TfD troubling. Humor is a tricky thing for Wikipedia to do responsibly. On the one hand, we need to be more aggressive about the potential of undisclosed satire to become misinformation. But on the other hand, we need to acknowledge that properly disclosed humor brings with it benefits for editor retention, and to resist the group of editors who appear determined to delete humor just because it's humor, even if it carries no actual potential for harm. {{u|Sdkb}} ^talk 21:01, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I hereby challenge you for the leadership of the Wikipedia: Department of Fun.

I will adhere to whatever system of challenge you currently have in place, but if it is none, I challenge you to a fun-off.

I do not know the rules of the fun off but if pressed I shall indeed produce them.

This is not a hostile takeover. I want to increase the amount of fun in the Wikipedia: Department of Fun. I would also like you to be part of that increased fun.

I have read the guidelines at your request. Although I would have enjoyed a more fun answer, your "good information" is also appreciated.

Since there is no leader or even an "elected collaborator" I shall seek to build fun projects that enhance the amount of fun the average Wikipedian encounters. What I mean is, you have only made one mainspace edit and already you are proposing to "take over" a WikiProject.
