ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Letters of Last Resort
Technically not an attempt at humor, I was copying the manner of style of writing from a similar article on this same subject in another encyclopedia just with the change to account for change of monarch. This is the source I used https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/Letters_of_last_resort Have a nice time, hope this clarifies what I was doing. 2603:7081:4040:FE00:B0B1:CF8D:BCE9:EE5B (talk) 17:29, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- It's hard for me to tell which article you're referring to, but ensure that any new information you add follows WP:MOS. Riverbend21 (talk) 17:14, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- It was the article about the Letters of Last Resort, as that link above should have made clear. If you clicked it you'd see where I got my choice of wording from. His Majesty's Government is the proper legal reference to the government of the United Kingdom in any UK legal document. 2603:7081:4040:FE00:FDCE:8E45:A5C5:D5B2 (talk) 05:55, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Riverbend21. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:43, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

You have recently made edits related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. This is a standard message to inform you that post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. --Hipal (talk) 19:38, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
Why was my change on the SpaceX Starship article reverted?
I wasn’t trying to vandalize the article, and I think the edit I made was constructive. I know I don’t have an account and mainly make small edits here and there, but nothing major or anything. What was wrong with the edit? It seemed to get reverted quite quickly too. I’m not sure why either. I was kind of surprised to get a message that my edit “wasn’t constructive”, because that’s never happened to me before. 98.168.49.45 (talk) 07:56, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies. I noticed how you changed the name of the section "reception" to "outside reception" and that at first glance did not seem constructive; please feel free to make any good faith modifications you see fit, thank you. Riverbend21 (talk) 11:41, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
Hello Mr.Riverbend
The information you re-undoed back on the wiki page, is the same place where you can find his titles, yet you chose to remove the rest of his titles, which is very unfair to Mr.Santana. Also the picture you removed is from is Facebook page, I am a student of his in kickboxing and he would deffinantly like me to improve his Wiki page. Please take this iformation to consideration, Thank you.
Best regards Haak32 its me Haak32 btw

Defamatory statement
It has come to my attention that on The Cambodia Daily page there is a statement that is defamatory. It is attributed to one commentator who is an unreliable narrator and the information is not verified. This source is not the New York Times, Reuters or AP. He has never interviewed us or talked to anyone who knows about our finances. The commentator has put it in his website and his article has a libelous statement. I was formerly an accountant of The Cambodia Daily for many years. I removed this statement but it was reverted. Please remove this false statement from that page because it is completely untrue and negatively impacts my and other staff's employment prospects as our work at the Daily is in our resumes. This is the defamatory statement: "Other commentators blamed the newspaper's owners "of poor internal governance, and a history of noncompliance". - Your edit was unconstructive as you changed the name of the news site for no particular reason. Riverbend21 (talk) 14:56, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- You might want to double-check that; Special:Diff/1139499388 shows no change to the name of the newspaper. Please be a bit more careful with your use of rollback in the future. Primefac (talk) 15:04, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- I see the diff now, I must have looked at it incorrectly somehow; thanks for catching that. Riverbend21 (talk) 15:10, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- The official name of the news site is The Cambodia Daily. The "the" was missing so that was the particular reason I corrected it. JordanCaroll1234 (talk) 10:50, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

RE: Top-down cosmology
My post below was summarily deleted for citation reasons:
"The James Webb Space Telescope has revealed massive early galaxies favoring top-down cosmology over bottom-up cosmology described by the big bang theory, where predicted smaller early-formative galaxies have not been found."
The description of top-down cosmology at
makes connecting the James Webb Space Telescope, public domain evidence found on the Internet, a near tautology. 207.160.165.27 (talk) 16:13, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
Trench Coat
I got a message regarding changes I made to Trench Coat page. I added a citation to the material added on servicewomen wearing trench coats in WW1, which cites my book published in 2022. I also added films in 'popular culture' section since I noticed that the actors featured were all men. I feel the page needs work and there are more sources I could use to improve it. I did make various smaller changes, but can add citations from my research on the topic. 178.85.156.58 (talk) 17:47, 18 March 2023 (UTC)

Dart gun
How is my edit non-constructive? It explains why 'tranquilizer gun' can be a misnomer. 71.205.160.164 (talk) 14:38, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
