Usage
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse
, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state=
parameter may be used:
{{Wikipedia community|state=collapsed}}
will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{{Wikipedia community|state=expanded}}
will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
Purpose
This navbox is intended to be a footer version of {{Noticeboard links}}, although it is also a possible replacement.
It is a superset of {{Noticeboard links}}, also including other community-oriented pages on the English Wikipedia.
The idea is to use this as a footer on appropriate pages that don't have the {{Noticeboard links}} header.
It excludes, for the most part, help pages and rule pages. It's more a directory towards tasks, assistance, news and debates.

- {{Useful links}}: a collection of shortcuts, mostly in all-caps (e.g., WP:3RR), but with the full title of each page available by hovering the mouse pointer over its shortcut
- {{Wikipedia help pages}}
- {{Wikipedia technical help}}
- {{Manual of Style}}
