Leandro Lo Pereira do Nascimento (born in São Paulo, Brazil), is a multiple-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion. He has also won BJJ events including the World Cup, Pan American championships and Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championships.[3] He held an unbeaten winning streak at the Copa Podio from 2011 to 2013.[4] Lo earned his black belt under Cicero Costha at Cicero Costha Academy in São Paulo, Brazil.[citation needed][5] In 2015, he created the New School "NS" Brotherhood team .[3] His ferocious guard passing and tenacious guard play have made Lo one of the "best pound for pound grapplers to have ever graced the mat."[6]
