Unethical Information
Please edit the information recently written about Mikey WAY. I don't know who had access in changing the page but it's distestful and needs to be modified immediately. Thanks! --MorbidVampFaery
[Edit] I just looked back. I'd like to thank whoever it was who changed the bio back to the way it should be. :]
recent vandalism
i cant sign in atm because i'm at school, but someones messed around with the Mikey bio. Bobs need looking at too, theres alot of fan girl information too.[EDIT] Thanks to whoever changed it :D it made me laugh though.Kokiri kid 06:15, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Way's ethnic heritage, star sign, history of physical ailments and injuries, his romantic involvements, and essentially anything else I delete on a regular basis is irrelevant in terms of this encyclopedia. If you want to moon over every supposed detail of the man's life, might I suggest relocating to a fan forum. Hinklethedink 23:01, 3 October 2005 (UTC)Hinklethedink
- I think the information about his engagement to Alicia Simmons is significant enough to keep in the article, though if it were just dating, I'd agree with you. -Colin Kimbrell 19:02, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going to retract my prior comment, since I can't find a clean citation for him being engaged. It's all just talk on boards and journals. Take it out of the article, and keep it out until it can be verified. -Colin Kimbrell 22:26, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
It has been confirmed by Alicia Simmons herself so I am going to add it to the article again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xxtorisaucexx (talk • contribs) 23:47, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

When being interviewed during Warped Tour 2005, the band was asked about the things they're commonly asked to autograph, and Mikey stated that he's commonly asked to sign inhalers. Then he says, "I'm not actually asthmatic, but I'll sign 'em. You bring 'em!"
Can someone PLEASE remove Mikey's MySpace link? It's gone. 70.135.97.63 10:59, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Mikey Way 1980-09-10
Mikey Way has had a few injuries in the past like:
Liver Damage; Like his brother Gerard Way, Three Broken Toes; For some reason "Epic Battle With Brick Wall?", Nearsightedness, Multiple Upper Respiratory Infections
well on the band website, it has listings of injuries they've all had. [[User:bandgeek100]] 03:25, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Picture
I suggest a picture be added. I don't have any, but since there isn't one, I think that it should be added.
i'll see what i can do. [[User:bandgeek100]]
we definatly need a picture, and more information. he's a large part of a mojor label band. the article is way too small.Dizzydark 14:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
he really needs a picture!!!!!!!!!!! --lauren 07:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Genre
I, as a great fan, personally think My Chemical Romance is an emo band, however the article says otherwise. MTV calls it "alternative pop/rock and punk-pop", but I am sure this is a perspective-associated issue. Should we then remove the genre description before the band's name instead of calling it something many people obviously will disagree with? Or whatever, what is your opinion? --Adriaan90 15:55, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: Genre
I don't think MCR are an emo band, or pop-rock, punk-pop band, i personally think they don't really have a genre, as their songs change all the time, yes, i admit some songs are emo, but some songa are also rock, or punk-pop.
Just Noticed...
In the list of gay, lesbian, or bisexual people/U-Z, it states that Mikey is bisexual and Gerard is also listed. I don't know if it's true or not, could someone please source it?Redspark09 20:01, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Oh okay. Thanks! Redspark09 19:44, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
its so not true !!! hes engaged to a guitar tech named alicia simmons !!!
hey it says that he is geralds brother twice. once in the first paragraph and then again in the second. it doesnt really need to be there twice does it???--lauren 07:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Footnotes
These footnotes are not proper, nor do they lead to any source. This needs to be fixed or they should probably be removed and the information they cite researched to see if it's true. Darthgriz98 01:47, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed the citations, but the article also needs more citations than just Imnotokay.com. By the way, does anyone know if this site is even reputable? Darthgriz98 03:29, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
I think this site is actually reputable. It's their official fansite. Thefreakshow 12:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Alright then, that works, so I guess that makes it one of the only sites out there with accurate info on them. Well, at least we have one then. Darthgriz98 23:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Mental Health
Now I know Manic Depression is Bipolar Disorder, but which should we call it in the article? The only sources I can find for this are fansites anyways. Fancruft and rummors need to be removed from the article. Darthgriz98 03:27, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Manic depression isn't the same thing as bipolar disorder. I can't even find legitimate sources for either anyway. Thefreakshow 12:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, if we can't find sources for it, then it can't be used in a biography article, there is something very very strange about that section I'm going to give it another readover. Darthgriz98 23:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I guess it was taken out. Fair enough. Darthgriz98 23:11, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
