Sanjeeva Kumar Singh

Sanjeeva Kumar Singh is an Indian archery coach from Jharkhand. He is a Senior Vice-President and Head of Corporate Relations at Tata Realty.[1] He is the recipient of Arjuna Award and Dronacharya Award by the Government of India.

Early Life and Education

Sanjeeva Kumar Singh was born in India, where he demonstrated an early passion for both academics and sports. He pursued a strong academic background alongside his athletic career, excelling in both fields. Singh completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra in 1987, where he was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance. His commitment to education did not stop there, as he later completed PGDBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur., in 2000.[2]

Further enriching his academic portfolio, Singh pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in International Sports Management from the University of London in 2024. This advanced qualification reflects his dedication to understanding sports from a global perspective and contributing at both national and international levels in sports administration and development.

Awards

In 1992, Sanjeeva received the Arjuna Award[3] by the Government India for his contribution to Indian Archery. He has also received Dronacharya Award[4][5] in 2007.
