The Pokhara International Cricket Stadium, simply known as Pokhara Cricket Ground (Nepali: पाेखरा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट रंगशाला) is a cricket ground in Pokhara, Gandaki, Nepal.[1][2]

The stadium is the headquarter of Gandaki Province Cricket Association, the governing body of cricket in Gandaki Province. The ground also served as the home ground for the Gandaki Province cricket team for PM Cup matches, Pokhara Avengers for Nepal Premier League.

History

It is the only venue in Nepal beside Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground and Mulpani Cricket Ground to host international cricket matches.Often regarded as this ground is one of the best picturesque cricketing venue in the world.[3]

Construction

To Upgrade and beautify the Stadium Gandaki provincial government allocated Rs. 10 Million and Rs.20 millions by federal government, Rs. 30 Million in stake. But due to lack of coordination between two level government, the allocated budget left unspent which is one of the main reason of the slow progress of the construction of this Ground.[4]
