Poh
Poh (Shahmukhi: پوہ; Gurmukhi: ਪੋਹ, Punjabi pronunciation: [póː]) is the tenth month of the Punjabi calendar as well as the Nanakshahi calendar, which governs the activities within Sikhism.
This month coincides with Pausha in the Hindu calendar and the Indian national calendar,[1] and December and January in the Gregorian and Julian calendars and is 30 days long. This month is also remembered as the month of martyrdoms as in this month Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj fought the battle of chamkaur. In this month only the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj and his mother Mata Gujar Kaur ji left their mortal bodies.
