Phtheochroa sodaliana, the buckthorn conch, is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in most of Europe (except the Iberian Peninsula and part of the Balkan Peninsula)[2] and in Russia (Uralsk) and Lebanon.[3] The habitat consists of dry pastures, heathland and fens.[4]

The wingspan is 14–17 mm.

Adults have been recorded on wing from May to June.

The larvae feed on Rhamnus cathartica and Frangula alnus. They spin the berries together.[5]
