Lidewij G. de Vos (Dutch: [ˈlidəʋɛi də ˈvɔs]; born 1997) is a Dutch politician of the far-right Forum for Democracy (FvD).
Early life and career
De Vos was born in 1997, and she studied biochemistry and neuroscience. She was trained to play the violin, and she worked as a violin teacher in Utrecht from 2017 to 2019. She became a policy advisor for Forum for Democracy in August 2021.[1] De Vos ran for the House of Representatives in November 2023 as the party's sixth candidate, but she was not elected since the party secured three seats.[2] She will temporarily replace party leader Thierry Baudet on the body, who is stepping down in January 2025 to go on paternity leave. Baudet is planned to return on 3 March 2025.[3]
