Plot

Karken, a rural medical officer in Arunachal Pradesh, had long abandoned his dream of acting. But one morning, he decides to audition, breaking a promise to his fiancée, Mongam, risking their relationship. Urged by a friend to keep it secret, Karken refuses to lie. His dogmatic father refuses his career choice, pressuring Karken to talk to Mongam. When he does, she responds with silence, hurt by his actions. Meanwhile, higher officials discovered Karken's absence before an important inspection and terminated him.

Despite losing his job, Karken heroically navigates two critical medical cases with minimal support and poor network, successfully delivering a breech baby. Mongam calls to end their relationship, and Karken is crushed. He then attempts to help his transgender brother, Karpi, gain acceptance from their father, but this pushes Karpi to despair. Karken's cousin intervenes, defusing the crisis. The next morning, with renewed purpose, Karken heads to his audition, for a transgender role.
