Jim Battle (born February 20, 1938) is an American former professional football guard who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He also played in college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis.[1][2] He played in 14 games for the Minnesota Vikings before joining the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL in 1964.[3] Battle played at the end position in college, tallying 85 receptions for 1,010 yards, and was converted to an offensive guard with the Vikings.[4]
