Jacolby George (born January 25, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Hurricanes.

Early life and high school

George attended Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a four-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Georgia Tech, Miami, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCF and West Virginia.[1] George committed to play college football for the Miami Hurricanes.[2][3]

College career

During his first two collegiate seasons in 2021 and 2022, George appeared in 16 games, where he totaled 20 receptions for 313 yards and a touchdown.[4][5][6] In week two of the 2023 season, he caught three touchdowns as he helped the Hurricanes beat Texas A&M.[7] In week 11, George tallied five receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Florida State.[8] He finished the 2023 season, totaling 57 receptions for 864 yards and eight touchdowns, where for his performance, George was named third team all-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).[9][10] In week two of the 2024 season, George hauled in six receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown, as he helped the Hurricanes to a win over the Ball State Cardinals.[11]
