File talk:Jana McCall, music artist, self portrait.jpg
- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of a fair use image as a replaceable image. Please do not modify it.
The result was to delete the image.
fair use
- No other free, reasonable portrait of the artist exist. There are a few concert photos floating around the web, however, the artist is too small and cropping would produce a grainy photo.
- The portrait helps to visually explain the mood of the artist. There are no free photos that accomplish this so well.
- It would be very cumbersome to replace the image with text. Even then, the text could not adequately explain the self-portrait's intimations.
- This small self-portrait could only enhance commercial opportunities for this retired artist.
