Verskeie kenmerkende boomspesies van die laeveld is onderskeibaar, soos geannoteer. Hierdie habitat suidwaarts van Granokop word as "gemengde doringveld en maroelaboomveld op graniet" beskryf, en dié noord van die kop (Skukuza-area) as "gemengde boomveld en doringruigtes". English: A very clear southward view from the Mathekenyane / Granokop viewpoint in the southern Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Several of the tree species that populate the lowveld woodlands can be distinguished, as annotated. This habitat southwards of Mathekenyane is described as "mixed thorn and marula woodlands on granite", while that to the north (Skukuza area) is described as "mixed woodland and thorn thickets". |
