Description
English: Surveyor - NASA Lunar soft lander. The Surveyor program received the Collier Trophy in 1967 together with the Hughes Aircraft Company, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and associated organizations which put the successful series of spacerraft on the Moon, and facilitated the success in 1969, of the Apollo lunar landing of humans on another planet. This mock-up of the Surveyor spacecraft was taken in 1966.
