On Thursday, January 9, 2020, the LBJ Foundation and The University of Texas Heman Sweatt Center for Black Males presented A Conversation With Jemele Hill, the keynote conclusion to UT's 2020 Black Student-Athlete Summit.

Hill is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, co-founder of Lodge Freeway Media production company, and a staff writer for The Atlantic, where she covers sports, race, politics, and culture. She also hosts the podcast Unbothered. Previously, she was chief correspondent and senior columnist for The Undefeated, ESPN's website that explores sports, race, and culture.

The conversation with Hill was moderated by Leonard N. Moore, PhD, vice president for Diversity and Community Engagement at UT Austin. During the event, Hill was presented with the Sean Adams Courageous Athlete Award.
