Description
English: Official seal of Emperor Tewodros II of Ethiopia. According to Hormuzd Rassam, in whose book Narrative of the British Mission to Theodore, King of Abyssinia (London, 1869) this seal also appears, the Amharic text translates as "Negus Nagaset, Teodros, of Ethiopia" while the Arabic text translates as "The victorious King, Taodros, King of Abyssinia."
